How do you guys feel about all that technology TNHC is using in the sales office?  i went on an off-day and thought it was interesting to see all these ipads, interactive kiosks, but are they being used?  I can totally see some of the younger folks go to town with them, but I kind of miss the 3d topo tables with small trees and monopoly homes on them.  I don't remember seeing this level of technology in other sales offices before.  Is it a trend?

I would have to say yes on that.  Instead of having to congregate at the salesperson's workstation and having to contort their necks to get a good view of the screen, the ever cheaper tablets offer a much more versatile platform to do business.  I was at an AT&T retail store yesterday and was a bit surprised that the guy who helped me did everything on his iPad.  Granted, they still had the old POS PC workstations, but I think those will be on their way out real soon.  As for those topo tables, 3D printers will make them for you the way you like them.

Haven't really seen it any other sales offices around Irvine area. Guess once you see IP start using it you can say it's trend.

They are definitely targeting a certain demographic and billing themselves as a luxury brand.

Also makes things efficient a you can register on the iPad and get a confirmation right away vs filling one on paper an waiting for someone enter it days later.

The technology is definitely useful when they discuss certain layouts, floor plans, and options.

Definitely some money being spent as they have three sales offices that are all equipped.
