Cavs and Wolves agree to trade Love for Wiggins, Bennett, and first round pick. The deal can not be official until Aug 23.

I think Cleveland gave up too much.

Minnesota was lucky to get one number one pick, but both number one picks AND a first rounder in 2015? They fleeced the Cavs for KLove considering that they couldn't get a better deal anywhere else (Klay Thompson isn't *that* good).

Bennett is redundant so I can see why they would trade him for KLove but I would have kept at least one of them (imagine a lineup of Kyrie, Wiggins, LBJ, KLove and Varajao) but at least this is good news for Dion Waiters who has expressed not wanting to come off the bench. And with the signing of Mike Miller and James Jones, there is glut at the SG/SF position.

Hats off to the TWolves for turning nothing into two (and possibly 3) young stars.

yeah the Cavs got worked. it would be funny if Klove didnt actually sign with them at the end of the year.  James now looks like a crackhead, they say he lost like 40 pounds in 2 months not sure if that is true but he does look very skinny.  im sure he has lost of ton of strength as well since he was all muscle to begin with.  im still not convinced Klove and lebron will mesh well. I would have rolled the dice with wiggins/bennett for the first half of the year to see what things looked like and then trade for Klove if they didnt look as good. Im sure minnesota would have taken wiggins mid season based on potential even if he wasnt playing all that well for the cavs.

I think LBJ is trying to reduce the weight stress on his body and be leaner and quicker.

If they get KLove, he won't have to bang with the opposing team's PFs.

Or maybe he isn't eating as well in Akron as he did in Miami (and uh... maybe no more PEDs?).

i get why he is doing it, just think he probably lost too much weight. we will see. part of his success was his size/strength combo - there are plenty of fast/quick guys in the NBA as well as strong guys but he was one of the few that was both.  I thought about PEDs as well.  even if you stopped lifting for two months you wouldnt loose that much muscle, i guess it could be the food he is eating, or lack thereof.  i think now the quick wing defenders will be able to guard him more easily.
