Skek and I will go out there and pick it up for you. We can get some burritos from Rosas and test drive it in Waterman Canyon.

Who are you kidding?

I’d like to come along, just so I can see security escort the both of you off the lot.

They wouldn’t even let Skek sit in an S Class at Fletcher Jones, let alone test drive one.

You guys are too funny!

The stuff that dreams are made of.

Dude, they'd be rolling out the Lakers Girls for skek if he showed up on the lot at FJ. Who do you think sold Starbury that courtside seat to Lakers-Knicks?! Probably let him test drive any ride he wanted there for a month no strings.

Now for me, they probably wouldn't even give up an employment app for the parts department.

Uh, that would be Denzel Washington.

Since you and skek can’t afford seats let alone Arena Club, I wouldn’t expect you to know that.

More than likely, they’d hand skek a mop and bucket while directing him to clean the Men’s room.

LOL. Good stuff Ten-Man, although if you knew anything about skek's cred, you'd realize it was beyond reproach.

So skekker, I could swear you got a new pic on the ole corporate bio page. What's up with the scruff? Trying to look older or something?!

Skek’s solid so are you.

I look forward to mixing it up and trading punches with you both on a daily basis.

Now that’s out of the way.

Let’s talk business

When are you going to share those creative accounting strategies with me?

How can I keep all my cash stashed away from those greedy thieves in Washinghton?

Ha! Good eye. That's actually an older photo. They forced us to take more recent ones, but I hated mine. So I had the marketing folks put the old one back up. The scruff is long gone. I shaved it off when the baby was born -- kind of a symbolic thing.

And to think, ipop, I thought you'd respect my 909 cred more than that corporate fluff.

Skek,

Didn’t know you’re a corporate guy.

Much respect!

Thought you ran a tire shop somewhere in Costa Mesa.

Yes sir, Skek's Discount Tires and Hot Dog Cart, Inc. is a California corporation. Ergo, I'm a corporate guy.

That’s what I figured.

Pitching radials and checking tire pressure.

You did mention that you wore a short sleeve shirt to work.

No respectable firm would let you get away with that except on Friday.

Too bad, it’s in CA.

Should’ve moved it off shore, know what I mean?

I'm just jealous I've never had a corporate web bio page... Merely my name and a few sentence blurb on the "Management Team" page once upon a time is the closest I've achieved.

I know what you mean, sort of.

Still don’t have Executive wash room privileges, feel like a commoner.

Ipop, I feel bad that you've never had your own corporate web bio page, so I've created one for you. Congratulations!

That is beautiful! I think I am gonna cry.

My pic just makes me want to say "Yo VIP - Stop, collaborate and listen"...

I, too, was moved to tears. I'm sure your crew misses you.

We got a mailing from Range Rover offering 0% financing. When the luxury brands are offering interest free financing, you know things are bad. We're actually considering it. The only way I'd finance a car ever again is if they offered 0%, and it looks like you can have your pick of makes and models these days.

Get the LR. Back in the day we had a 95 Discovery. It was amazing because it had PERMANENT four wheel drive. That car was way fun to drive and ruled the road in deep snow in Mammoth. I always recall one trip: 10 foot high drifts on the side of 395 in Bishop, CHP pulling everyone over to force them to put on chains. When my turn in line came I rolled my window down, the CHP officer looked inside and asked "are you in 4W Low?" I said I'm just in Drive! He laughed and said go ahead. I was the only car I saw in that batch he let go. So if you're a Mammoth guy, get that LR. Worth its wait in gold. But make sure to get the extended warranty. That saved us a bunch while we had it.
