Is an example of a sub 1M open floor plan, upgraded and decent sized yard in Baker Ranch.  I don't like it for me because it doesn't have a downstairs office, but still pretty nice compared to what you get in Irvine and very close to the Great Park side of Irvine. 

I work (pre-pandemic, now I work from home) in Baker ranch and my favorite places to eat are OZen sushi, Bravo Avo, Empanada Man, Peppinos, and the Izakaya place (not sure what the name is) next to BR. 

There isn't a whole lot of high end 'date night' places to eat in that area, but plenty of decent takeout/fast casual type places.
