Irvine one of Money Magazine's Top 100 places to live in 2010

I can't find the online OC Register link but the article said Irvine ranked 22nd on the list. The only other SoCal city was Yorba Linda at 38th.

I think it also said Irvine did not make the list in 2009 but was 4th in 2008.

Surprisingly, Irvine also came in as #5 on their list of best places to live for the rich and single (#1 was Newport Beach). I can understand the rich part seeing as how much homes cost, but the single part must be all those UCI students... heh.

With all the crime cover up Irvine Police Department practices everyday, I am sure the Number 1 spot will likely be manufactured again.  (end sarcasm) ;)
