Irvine most racially integrated city in America?

I was actually just a reading an article a few years old which said of the 20 California cities with the highest annual median incomes, Eastvale is the most diverse. It attracts high income blacks and hispanics. Anyway, I don't think Irvine makes the ranking to be included in the top 20 highest annual median incomes, for comparison, due to Eastvale ranking #17 and it is at approx $113k/yr. which is higher than Irvine.

However, I noticed Irvine is the 4th Chinesiest (is that a word?) mid-sized city in all of America.

Irvine's median income is misleading. FCBs don't report income and there are significant amount of UCI students.

And elderly.

I've always argued this on the IHB but no one would respond.

Stevie Wonder saw this reply coming a mile away.

No need to be defensive, CA Court. The emphasis there was what is being compared, not why something is being excluded. Those who don't read the article may assume Irvine is one of the other 19 cities listed, since the original poster mentioned Irvine and the article does not name every single other city. So, off-hand, not everyone would know how Irvine fits into this due to not everyone knowing the median incomes. For those people, I am clarifying that (regardless of the reasons why) Irvine does not fit into the story when being compared to Eastvale. Yes, we are all familiar with the mantra as it has been chanted for years.

funny how Irvine's median income is still significantly higher than Foothill Ranch (Lake Forest), even with all the apartment dwellers/students/FCBs/elders counted against Irvine, and the homeless people in Foothill Ranch not counted.

if you cannot afford Irvine and your skin is brown -> Santa Ana/Tustin
if you cannot afford Irvine and your skin is white -> Lake Forest and other south county cities.

Eastvale People are stupid and don't know how to cheat on taxes and hide their wealth. Those rich blacks and Hispanics need to learn from the tax cheats in Irvine who could buy houses 10x their annual income.

Don't forget about all of the low income housing residents that bring down median income.

that's right. Irvine is very generous to have all the low income housing for people who don't want to endure in low end communities like Foothill Ranch; giving people who cannot otherwise afford Irvine an opportunity enjoy all Irvine has to offer.
