Here's a funny thing that happened to me the other day. I was at the park with my son, sitting on a bench. There were two boys (about 11 or 12) also playing there. They were really innocent-looking, clean-cut Asian boys. Anyway, the two boys were playing with a telescope on a play structure, when all of a sudden I heard one of them say, "You can see her _____" (don't want to write what they said), and I realized they were pointing the telescope at ME and looking down my shirt. It's like, um...I can HEAR you. I looked at them and said, "Seriously?" They kind of slunk away, embarrassed, but anyway--it made me laugh. It just shows that despite Irvine's safe reputation, there is clearly an element of dangerous preteens skulking our city's playgrounds! Beware!

I was wearing yoga pants, I think (dressed like a lazy slob, as usual). So they wouldn't have been able to tell either way.
