Did the 5am preorder.

Gave me pick up time at South Coast, tried to change to Spectrum… then nothing available anywhere.

Had to switch to shipping and already slipped to first week of November.

So many people were saying it would not sell out… which is crazy because this is the first Apple foldable.
 
I couldn't justify the cost and lack of key features. I'll wait for duo gen 2 or 3-- pro triple camera and face id.
 
I hear other people with the SAMSUNG foldable say they never unfold it after having it for a few months.
It's like my mountain bike has all these switches & shit I don't use.....I only locked out the suspension when I'm climbing for the first month. ....Then I just never cared about using that switch again.

I suspect people with foldables will just keep it folded....then think to themselves, I should have just bought a regular iphone & Ipad if I want a bigger screen.

I have a Samsung Fold and I mainly use it unfolded because it's sort of like my 2nd computer. I'm pretty sure I'll use the Duo mostly folded also but like being able to make the screen bigger when I need to.
 
I went to the Apple Store at the Spectrum today to check it out. It looks pretty cool but the shape seems odd to me. I'm just used to the regular iPhone shape. I do like the large screen - felt like an iPad mini. I'll probably pick one up in a future iteration.
