I've always been amazed at the vast experience and sheer amount of knowledge that the IHB members have in regards to housing as well as other aspects of life. Our little community has triathletes, rock climbers, ballroom dancers, cigar aficionados, wine connoisseurs, food critics, century bicyclists, surfers, etc. What better way to try something new than to take part in an adventure led by one of these resident pros?
<a href="http://www.irvinehousingblog.com/club/">Adventure Club Irvine</a> is a new part of IHB that will allow members to get together and participate in activities that may be new to them. What qualifies as an adventure? Quite a bit! Outdoor adventures could include a variety of activities from hikes and bike rides to paragliding and kayaking. Indoor adventures might include wine tasting, ethnic dining, or going to the opera.

Events are created by Event Leaders. If you are interested in leading an event, send me a PM with the details and I'll set you up as an Event Leader.
There is no cost to be a part of the club. (We may add a nominal fee in the future that would be used by the club for things such as a banquet, awards, t-shirts, etc...) We've posted some <a href="http://www.irvinehousingblog.com/club/pages/faq/">FAQs</a> and if you have any questions or want to help out, send me a PM.
