Great episode of VICE on HBO discussing the alabama bill and the unintended consequences caused by the law that got rid of most of the immigrants. No one to do farmwork, the locals tried and couldnt/wouldnt do it, local stores closing etc because the large illegal immigrant population that was there to buy things was no longer
