One of the reasons why I prefer the older home is that I wouldn't have to see other homes when I look out the window. Honestly, when driving down the street I don't pay much attention to what the other houses look like. I certainly wouldn't care what color a house across the street was while I was enjoying my quiet, private back yard on a peaceful Sunday afternoon.
