IR2 or USCT- could you guys weigh in on this. I notice that some agents "delete" the listing once its sold. Why do they do that? I can get hiding previous pictures but why remove it from the MLS history?

Example: Gary Fallis in NP is selling 106 Spring Valley. The property was on the market a while and he went back and took out the original list price and all the subsequent drops out of MLS as listed on Redfin. Now he relists the property as a "new" listing minus the data from the previous listings. Is it really gone or just on Redfin?
I also notices he does this even with his closed sales as well. Is this to protect his future selling clients from showing buyers how much of a discount was required to give before selling a property or in case it falls out of escrow?
