I see most topics covered here but I dont see much about technology.. raise your hand if you have an iPhone 3g? Love it? Hate it?

My Wife sold her recently on Craigs List within 2 hours. There were 12 inquiries and they were all Vietnamese buyers. She sold her phone at 90% of the original retail price. She asked the buyers why would one want to get an used phone when a new 3G is only 1/2 of the cost. They were all interested in the hacking because the newer models Apple fixed the loophole.
Just wait for BB Storm...It's "supposed" to blow the iPhone away.
Never mind...I just read you got the iphone for your Bday...congrats!

I got my iPhone 3G on launch day, but my wife got one a little over a week ago. Several of the people in line waiting for iPhones were getting rid of the new Samsung Instinct.
If you are waiting for the iPhone to come to Verizon you will be waiting a very long time. Apple and AT&T's deal has a series of renewable options that can extend the exclusivity for a total of 5 years. AT&Trecently exercised one of the options for a third year of exclusivity and considering how well the phone is selling and how many people are switching it seems likely that the other two years will be exercised as well.

Kinda cool, there is a free Trulia app for the iPhone, so when driving around looking at houses, it can use your position to give you the listings nearby

Just downloaded two new apps. One is just for fun....Koi Pond. (.99c)
The other one is Loan Shark. It's an amortization schedule on your phone ! You can play with the loan amounts/rates/down %, etc to come up with the monthly P & I nut. Very useful. ($4.99) Keeps me from having to lug out the amortization schedule book (and the one I have only goes to 300K loan amounts......it's that old).

I just got a NEW 3G I-Phone from my lovely wife for my 32nd Birthday Present! I am ONE HAPPY PANDA!!! WHOOO HOO!!!
The 3G totally Rocks... ! I LOVE it. TOTALLY Awesome! Dude.. if you are still using the Verizon Black Berry, you need to dump that thing... it doesn't come close to the iPhone.
Hmmm, I wonder if my wife will buy me a New Irvine Home for my 33rd Birthday Present, as i have been telling her that i wanted one even when we were dating four years ago

AT&T's service is super sketchy in OC. Particluarly on the 241.
I've had it and Verizon, and the Verizon service is much better.
Just sayin'.
