I need an electrician

BK and I need to find someone who can go through the electrical work in our home and give us a general inspection. Any recommendations? I have no idea how to go about finding a reliable one that isnt going to overcharge us. Any ideas?

I've had good success finding people like this through Angie's list, but you have to subscribe. It's about $50/year.

We met Bob Vela (Not Bob Vila) today and he is very knowledgeable with electrical wiring in vintage homes. He performed several tests and gave us a very good analysis of our existing wiring. We were concerned about fire started from faulty wiring. I plan to have him come back to upgrade our electrical panel and additional outlets. His fee is very reasonable and he is an honest guy. Hope others would consider his service.
