I guess I give the republicans too much credit because I was expecting some humor. Instead, many of these comments are beyond tasteless and others are just plain vile and racist.

Freerepublic blog attracts people from bottom of the barrel, and doesn't represent the better educated Republicans as a whole.

Exactly! Do these people have any class what so ever? This is one of the ones that disturbed me the most.

I kind of got that... I really sensed that these were the NASCAR fans who don't really even know what fiscal means, but still these people are a not insignifcant portion of the GOP base. I don't agree with the far left, but at least I don't find them incredibly embarassing as I would this crowd.

Do the Young Republicans leadership represent the better educated Republicans?
