How will the North Korean nuclear test effect Irvine housing prices?

I think ABC is bored. Has to make stuff up to keep himself entertained. I don't blame him, I thought about doing it too. Many you should start a poll on how bored or excited your are to read the forums?
Just a curiosity, Do your Korean neighbors drive mostly Hyundai instead of Japanese made cars?
As a Korean, I can tell you that most of the Koreans just do not buy Korean cars for the simple reason that the status of owning a Korean car is not all that great in their circle of peers. Visit Korea and you will notice an attitude that "foreign is just better" attitude amongst the people, with German and Japanese cars selling like hotcakes during this down economy. A German or Japanese just has more status appeal and that reason alone has left the Hyundai brand reeling domestic and abroad amongst Koreans. I do like their new Genesis they made for the price point they are offering, but again its a domestic brand to most.
With that said, my wife and I drive an Accord and Highlander. None of my friends drive Korean made cars.
And yes I hate it when I tell people "I'm was born in Korea" they ask "oh, North or South?". Damn it people, learn some history.
I found it hilarious and assumed from the get go that it was meant as a joke.
The Korean neighbors on my right have 2 Mercedes (S class and E class) and the Korean neighbors on my left have 2 BMWs (3 Series and 5 Series). My Korean neighbor a few doors down has a BMW and Mazda. No Hyundai's to be found...!
Oh ya and CK, try the pre-marinated korean bbq meat at Trader Joes. BBQ it at high heat for 1:30 on each side and you will find heaven my friend...

Again, so strange. Pretty soon I'm going to come up with a survey that asks what type of person places a survey on the IHB. That, or I'm going going to have to start a thread for those that need a mini stats course. Seriously, we study statistics in my junior high math classes, half of the class is spent analyzing questions and deciding why they are worthless. This is becoming a pet peeve of mine around here. I have to believe that ABC is kidding, otherwise I might kill myself.

I live in Woodbury and most of my neighbors are Korean, so I'm sure we'll be fine...

On a related topic, I'm getting pretty good at grilling up the pre-marinated galbi my wife keeps bringing home from Zion Market. It's likely that the good smells floating through the neighborhood from my backyard grill are going to attract more Koreans to the neighborhood, therefore sustaining Irvine home prices for the foreseeable future.

Whether or not it effects prices, it will make law enforcement richer and no doubt tax payers poorer. CHP SF has been on full tactical alert since last Friday. That means double time pay 24/7 until it's called off. These agencies are getting more and more political, therefore justifying bigger budgets, bigger pay checks and more power grabs. Its getting to the point that if you can't beat them, join them.

Only thing about North Korea that can affect Irvine housing is a war, which could be quite helpful at times like this. But again, are we ina shape to invade North Korea? Probably not, although technically capable...
