Given that The Irvine Company is so obsessed with its image, what say you of the fact that their communites are also known for skimpy lots?

Does that not diminish their prestige?

Are the great park homes going to be managed by TIC like portola/woodbury or is it a strictly Lennar thing like VoC?

I forgot about the Lennar bid, then the prices around the great park will more likely put a lot of price pressure on PS and Woodbury, and to an extent Laguna Crossing. Lennar paid what? 650 million for 3700 acres, for a nice $176K per acre land cost. They sure have a lot more room to play with than $4 million an acre from TIC.

I guess we TIC will treat this just like VoC and it won't be advertised on the Irvineranch.com website or homefinding center.
