Trooper, have you thought about taking a step back and looking at what you are doing? I know that you don't want to hear this, but you can't legislate acceptance. And you certainly can't brow beat people into accepting you either.
 
Winex, you don't have to read what you don't want to. Just skip over those threads that bother you. It's pretty simple.

And last I heard, this was still America and people can do pretty much what they want, as long as it's legal.

Prop 8's passage has just been a huge slap in the face to the younger gay community who has NEVER faced discrimination before.

Unfortunately there is no way to ignore threads started by an individual. And even if there were, I wouldn't want to ignore threads that you start. But the fact is that one topic has taken over an entire folder.



Perhaps one of the mods can set up a dedicated folder for this topic?

Write again around Valentine's day when the Prop 8 protest are still going. That's roughly how long I've had to put up with your Obama and Democrat rants.
 
If you don't want to read the threads, then don't click on them. You don't have to start another thread just to whine about it. Of course, the likelihood of the threads stopping are more likely than you will stop your whining.

Poor Troop. I voted no on 8. Previously, this straight, white OC male would have voted yes on a like measure. However, when relatives start coming out of the closet, you start to ask yourself "what is the point?"



I was also repulsed by the people holding signs at busy intersections. The OC economy is swirling down the toilet, but God forbid those gays from getting a marriage certificate!

Seriously..there are plenty of threads, on all the forum sections, that I don't click on due to title alone. It's not difficult. I don't care about Portola Springs. I don't read that thread. Not rocket science.

You don't like Portola Springs? You never told me that. If you hate PS so much, why don't you go start a thread complaining about all the PS threads. I'm sure that will help you on your anti-PS crusade. Next thing you know you will be out in Orchard Hills protesting PS.

No Winex was WAY WAY worse. He started about 3 threads a day slamming anything liberal he could. Even stuff that was a flat out lie. Winex would start a thread or 2.

Some of it was really vile and hate filled as well. Anything to start an argument

and troll.



Now that someone else has started a few threads that may seem redundant. He starts to

whine like a schoolgirl. Winex. Would you like some cheese with your whine ?
