How do you add an avatar/icon ?

I'd like to see the avatars back. Who can tell me how to add one on "The new and improved IHB" ?

I just enabled it so that you can upload your own image to use as an avatar.



Here's how:

Click on 'Your Control Panel' at the top

Click on 'Edit Avatar' on the left

Upload your image

The new software supports images up to 100 x 100, so you are not limited to the tiny 20 x 20 images of Wordpress.

Why can't I add an animated icon? Whenever I try to add an animated gif it is displayed as a static image
