I've dined previously at Monsaba Yemeni Cuisine in Stanton, but unfortunately they've closed. It took a while to make my way to House of Mandi in Anaheim because their service size is quite large, and preferably you want party of 4 or more to order the platters. If you have smaller group, try Mandi House in Los Angeles (https://www.yelp.com/biz/mandi-house-los-angeles). The 2 restaurants used to be a franchise of some sort but had a falling out.

Yemeni restaurants tend to be heavy on chicken and lamb but light on beef. House of Mandi offers somewhat traditional seating on the right side of the restaurant, but if you're not comfortable sitting in low seats, there's modern table/seating option to the left side.

We ordered the lamb and chicken platter like the one in the 2nd pic below with side of flat bread, except I didn't see the green peppers. The foil wrap lamb was meh, rest was fine. Huge pile of rice (filled 2 large to go containers on the way out). I liked the chicken here better than then lamb. The sauce was basically... salsa and yogurt served in small plastic containers.

Overall, the food was ok but not exceptional. If you have visiting guests or family, the platter will feed 6 people. Pay attention to the receipt, tip surcharge is already added.
