Have you been on a blind date? How did it go? Respond below.

Dateline NBC is asking this question on their Facebook page. I am really enjoying reading the comments!  :D Examples:

"Awful. Woke up the next day and my balcony was covered with candles. What made it really disturbing was there was no way onto my balcony from the outside. I lived on the 4th floor! He put a lot of thought into getting candles to me."

"Awful!!!! All he wanted to do was tell me how successful he was. To this day, I am still wondering how long it took him to realize when I left him sitting in the restaurant." Dateline responded: "He's still probably there..."

Yes, and she was 1 Metric ton  :o and I all of a sudden realised that my cat died and I left immediately.  Best part was that I didn't have a cat back then.

I read this article just now and thought of your post.

They set up a profile with pics showing a slender blond lady in a bikini. They then put her in a fat suit for the dates. When the men showed up, 4 out of 5 abandoned her during the date. They were upset and rude. They then revealed the disguise to the one nice man who did stay.

They then reversed the experiment by putting a man into a fat suit to see his dates' reactions. As with the previous experiment, his profile pics showed a much more slender man. All but one of the women were happy to be with him. One even kissed him on the date. He was invited out to the Farmer's Market by one woman and scored some other second dates.

These results do not surprise me. I wouldn't give a flip about the size of my date.
 
Isn't this the whole Men From Mars, Women From Venus thing where men are more into looks while women take character into account?

Yup. As it said in the article, women's biggest fear is that the man will be a serial killer.

Meanwhile, men's biggest fear is the woman will be fat.  ???
