<p>Sometimes I get these lovely e-mail newsletters from my landlord's real estate agent. This one, though, had me confused. In it, she mentions that "Our government if offering $25,000 towards down payment and closing cost. This is a GRANT!!! meaning it doesn't have to be paid back." I've never heard of this and it sounds very fishy to me, so I wanted to see if anybody knows what the heck she's talking about. The info she gives is sketchy at best, and doesn't refer to any particular program.</p>
