Golf?

Ranch San Joaquin in irvine just "redid" their range.
There is a range and 9 hole in lake forest. There is a sonic burger across that street that is good for half off slushies for happy hour.

If you want a good course to get back into the swing of things I would suggest Casta Del Sol in Mission Viejo. It's an executive course with reasonable prices if you walk.

I need to play a lot more this summer.

I only do miniature golf... Boomer's style.

After my tee shot goes into the trees the second shot becomes kind of like Boomers with all of these different types of obstacles to overcome.

I am in for golf as long as you guys don't mind someone who shoots in the low 100's, haha.

I'm real good at drinking and driving that golf cart, count me in for that!

@gwailo, haven't played for about 10 years, I'll be happy if I hit a 100 :)

@homer, I'm bringing my pillow as my airbag if I'm riding in your golf cart...

Lake Forest is great for re-starting your game. Not too challenging until you have to shoot a ball over the dry river bed. You can bring your own Vodka and pick oranges along the way to add some fresh juice to your screwdrivers.

Aliso Creek in Laguna is a great deal of fun.

Another basic course (if you can stand the jet noise) is that place right at the end of the runway by John Wayne. A very forgiving front 9.

I just booked a trip to play at one of "the world's most challenging and beautiful 18-hole miniature golf courses" - Golf Gardens on Catalina Island. Apparently, there are some people who take mini golf really seriously. I read this course is renowned internationally.
