Hello, I have two college kids with my ex husband.
Accidentally I got to know that he trys to take kids so called "Financial seminar " on 9/3-9/5.
Since their college hasn't started yet at this days, I feel suspicious feeling what is his poupose to take kids to these seminar? Is there normal?
Previously, my ex cheated on me for the document which I gave up my possession of joint property to his solo ownership... He arranged the attorney to visit our place by saying that we needed signatures for remortgage documents, but secretly he or they included the solo property ownership doc in them, I didn't notice it, it was my mistake though I signed many docs for remortgage, never imagined that included such a important document..
He breached many of custody court orders as well, even he lied to one of the High school administrators that he didn't have final decree which we had it ofcouse. Finally the school accepted me as a mother by seeing final decree I offered them.
Now, he seems to be struggling financially badly, he even borrowed all of kids education funds, he didn't refund them yet..
Then now, he is taking kids to the strange seminar.. I strongly doubt that he might plan something different to things he explained kids.. Since they are over 18 years old, but they has nkt build financial literacy yet properly, I am scared if he manuplates then to sign of any financial loan or any dodgy schemes.. He made losses on Ponzi schemes a few years ago, and some other "investment deal", he all failed..
I just hope that he wouldn't use and take advantages of kids signatures for inappropriate contracts or any.
I would appreciate if you could provide me any advice on this... Kids seem not to care what is happening, they really don't understand any potential risks... thank you...
