I really like this thing. (I am not a Pampered Chef consultant, I just love their products.) It's called an Easy Opener. It opens 2 liter bottles, vacuum-sealed jars, and has a slot (on the cap-opener end) to insert can tabs to open those. No more hurting my hands or having to ask my husband to open everything. It has a magnet on the back so you can keep it on the ice box within easy reach.

I love having an egg slicer
... because, as I discovered yesterday when making a chocolate silk and strawberry pie, it really does work on strawberries too! I sliced a pound of berries very quickly compared to using a paring knife like I usually do. It even works well on very soft ripe berries without squishing them. Love this gadget!
