Father's Day is coming up this Sunday. That was fast. What are your plans?

Iho, I bet I already know what you're going to say. Be an Open House lookie-loo (did you write that?!) ;), Korean BBQ, a second stop to eat somewhere later, etc...  :)

Well, as for me, Mr. SoCal says I don't have to get him anything since he ain't my daddy. But I am attempting to pull off a surprise anyway. He thinks we don't have any plans for this weekend except maybe lunch on Sunday. I am playing along.  However, I am actually getting train tickets to ride down to the Gaslamp Quarter in San Diego, either deboard at Old Town and take a trolley down or ride directly to Union Station.

I plan to jump off the trolley at Chocolat Cremier.http://www.chocolatsandiego.com/Gelatto, creme brulee, crepes, coffee, yum. Or go to one of the 200 restaurants around there.

Lots of sports that day, three World Cup matches followed by NBA finals at night, I think I'll stay in, maybe lunch at Agora
 
Wow, you're getting brave posting your whereabouts WITH notice! Well, since I'm spending Saturday at Gaslamp, now I know what I'll be doing Sunday... snapping pics from the other side of Bella Cuba.
 
Free burger at the Counter if your kids says "My dad is a BFD."  BFD = Burger for Dad.  Yeah, I don't get it either.
 
Looks like we are going to either Lucille's or Wood Ranch for Father's Day.

I'm not really a fan of Lucille's but I'm not the only one making the decision here... 3 fathers, two birthday celebrants, I'm a minority vote.

My sweet wife surprised me this morning with this father's day gift. It is almost 9 years since we have been married, I love her more and more as the years go by. She gives me so much encouragement and support and believes in me more than I believe in myself. I am a very lucky guy.

This evening one of my close friends (15 years) from LA is visiting me with his wife and children. I am going to take him out to one of the best Korean BBQ restaurants around here.

Happy Father's Day to all you daddies on T.I. -- Iho, Homer, Panda, Qwerty (your first one!), O.S., Ps9, IHS, and the rest -- too many to name but you know who you are.

I am thankful to have such a good dad for my kids. We've have had fun celebrating him all weekend long. We are beat from our trip to San Diego yesterday. The B-39 Soviet Sub was the favorite of us all. We felt like kids exploring around, folding ourselves up and climbing through the hatches of each chamber, up and down ladders, fiddling with controls. Lots of fun. Highly recommended. The weather down there was too good to be true. Beautimous.

I am seeing Malificent for Father's Day... what?!?

Yeah... part of being a father is doing what the kids and wife wants. But I am going to drag them to some model homes afterwards.

If I'm lucky... gonna watch San Andreas or Jurassic World tonight.
 
Father's Day is becoming Model Home Day.  :)

No movies for us, gonna eat lobster two ways and a whole plate of toro for dinner.

Was this in Portola Springs near Sage2/Valley Vista Park - off Arrowhead?  If so, I saw the same coyote.  It came 10-15 ft from me while I was playing basketball.  I warned a jogger about the coyote.  10 min later, I saw the same jogger running back to where I was at, with the coyote right on his tail.  I tried taking a pic, but the coyote ran back into the bushes.  Looks like Portola barely avoided another coyote attack...

I did think about it. But then I remembered that not one person wished me or the other TI ladies a happy Mother's Day last month. So, I'm like... PASS.
