I am wondering if there's a way to get exposure to the US dollar and the emerging market in a single transaction. The idea would be to invest in emerging markets and against the US dollar. I do not want to pick a single stock so an ETF would be the way to go, but I do not know for sure that it's available.

Somehting like EEM would do the job for the exposure to emerging markets, but won't do it for the exposure to the US dollar. I know I can do this in 2 transactions, but I would like to have full exposure in a single transaction (more risk = more return ... don't flam me ... it can also be more losses).

Any ideas?

there's inverse ETFs for the dollar. powershares (not PROshares) has one called UDN. its still another transaction but given their both ETFs so the costs are minimal. plus it leaves you with the flexibility of how you want to weight this trade.

well, if you really thought that dollar denomination was bad news, then you would would want to avoid china. but that's the only BRIC country that uses a straight peg, to my knowledge.
