Wow. I watched Tuscany Hills get built up while I was growing up. Part of it failed (read: they only finished some of the streets before they ran out of money) during the last bust. This is just history repeating itself.
Tuscany is literally up on a hill. In high school I'd see how fast I could get my manual transmission car going while coasting down the huge grade of a street they built to get folks up there. I usually got up to 75-80 mph. Hardly anybody lived there so it wasn't terribly dangerous.
Yep, the last home I purchased in New Mexico (Near Santa Fe) had evidence of wolves/dogs living in there. Thankfully no more problems after we cleaned up the place and got some renters in there.
but bobcats? Sheesh, I would not want to be anywhere near a angry 40lb cat....
I was riding on the Backbay with a friend one day, we turned a corner and there was a HUGE Bobcat (I think) standing right in the middle of the Path...we just kept going REALLY fast!! He was bigger than a fully grown Golden Retriever..when we passed Him I told my friend I just had to ride faster than him :snake:

Many years ago a mountain biker was killed and several were injured by mountain lions in Foothill Ranch.

I saw one also near where the 73 FWY goes over the path. It was at dusk a couple of months ago and I was jogging by myself. It scurried across the path and into the bushes about 50 yards ahead of me. I didn't pursue it!
OMG that picture is scary! I always suspect big cats are involved when I see pictures of lost pets around. Such a horrible thought. We've had a picture of a little white dog on our bank of mailboxes for months now
