Irvine Park Railroad has an annual "Easter Eggstravaganza" with a hunt plus lots of other activities.http://www.irvineparkrailroad.com/content/easter-eggstravaganza

Incidentally, if you are in an IAC apartment, they almost always coordinate something from my experience.

Irvinehomeshopper - I'm looking forward to having our first Easter in our new home. It's a good sized yard where they can have a nice egg hunt.

For us adults - the best part of getting older & having Alzheimer's is you can hide your own Easter eggs!

This thread inspired me! I bought some Easter eggs at Target and we did a makeshift egg hunt in our house. Now I have 297402937492 little plastic eggs all over the place. But it was fun.

Why are they still all over the place? Did SoCal's Alzheimer kick in so you don't remember where you hid them?

Yeah, I'll probably be finding them stuffed into corners and crevices for months...

We attend the Spring Fling/Easter egg hunt on 3/31 that?s held in Woodbury.
It?s a lot of fun but the egg hunt can get chaotic.
This year they?re going with wristbands for the different age groups.

Here's the info from the Woodbury Community Association website:
Spring Fling 2012

Join us at the Recreation Center on Saturday, March 31st from 1:00 pm to 4 pm, in the Revival parking lot and Great Lawn area for a fun filled afternoon!  There will be many great activities, including pony rides, a petting zoo, rides, jumpers, balloon artist and the return of our beloved Easter egg hunt.  Of course the Easter Bunny will be visiting once again, so bring your cameras to get those cherished holiday photos!  We will also have several different food trucks selling items for an additional cost at the event.

Our famous Easter egg hunt will take place on the Great Lawn.  This year you will need to purchase a wristband for children 12 and under for $3.00 each.  Wristbands can be purchased at the recreation office at 108 Lamplighter, starting Friday, February 17th.  We take checks or exact cash only.  The wristbands will be for the egg hunt and all rides and activities. Please note that wristbands will be limited to children in your household.  Due to the size of the community now, this event is only for Woodbury residents (no guests please).  We appreciate your understanding.  Wristband sales will be limited and this event is expected to sell out!  Children without wristbands will not be able to participate.

Egg Hunt will be divided as follows: (This egg hunt is capped so get your wristbands early!!!)
1:00 pm Grey Wristbands (0 ? 2 years of age)
1:20 pm Red wristbands  (0 ? 2 years of age)
1:40 pm Yellow wristbands (3 ? 5 years of age)
2:00 pm White wristbands  (3 ? 5 years of age)
2:20 pm Blue wristbands  (6 ? 8 years of age)
