Agreed, it would be even better if they included the head w/ the arms and tentacles - my favorite parts.  :P

That and some fresh steamed rice...  Kuyas chicken...Some halo halo for desert...  Heaven

Where do you go for the squid ?  I prefer Gerry's Grill or Salo Salo...

Arms?!

If you only knew how much I heart shrimp legs. I'd just about die if given squid arms.

I had to Bing this. Wow. It's the most colorful thing I've ever laid eyes on. I have absolutely no idea what it could taste like other than a rainbow in your mouth. If I can ever find it, it's mine.

Halo Halo is very similar to the Taiwanese shaved ice I've been chasing.

No where in Irvine for that too but I think you can get it at Pam's Best in Lake Forest.

LOL.  Well, I guess some of us are just more adventurous when it comes to food.  My philosophy is kinda like Andrew Zimmern's - "if it looks good, eat it", "variety is the spice of life", and "how do you know if you don't at least try it?".  Whenever I go out to eat, I try to order something new, or something I've never tried before.  I remember the time I was in a huge restaurant in Guangzhou China, and I was looking at all their numerous fresh critters.  It was like walking thru a zoo, with all kinds of tanks and cages holding a wide variety of animals.  I was making mental notes on whether or not I would eat each critter, and the only thing I would not have eaten in that place was something called a "water cockroach".  So, compared to that, squid arms would be like a prime filet mignon to me.

Heh, I just moved to the Cerritos-Norwalk area.  Will have to visit Gerry's Grill some time.

For Japanese, this doesn't look plated very well.  Appears Chinese or Korean Japanese food not authentic.

I was going to say it doesn't look authentic because the first pic appears to be southern fried chicken... no??
