Dry Cleaning in the Tustin area

Anyone have a reliable and affordable dry cleaners in the District area? I can also do South Coast area as I drive by there every day on my way to work.

I go to Bronco Cleaners right now, near Honda-Ya, with a coupon they charge $1.75 for any garment. I am pretty sure there is a cheaper one out there for dress shirts and pants.

Ok, so I have a ton of clothes that I will be donating to "Working Wardrobes" and although they are clean pressed and hanging... they are soooo dusty from being in the closet and not being worn! I need to take them to be re-cleaned and pressed before donating them... so, I don't want to spend a lot of $$$.

If you have not heard of "Working Wardrobes", I suggest you look at there site sometime. It's a great organization that helps provide people getting back on their feet and back into the professional environment. Working Wardrobes provides them with suits, shoes and accessories for that all important interview.

Does anyone know of a good CHEAP dry cleaner, or an awesome coupon that will bring the price down? I have a lot of clothes to donate, but I also don't want to spend a ton of money in order to do so....

I can't offer any advice, but just wanted to give you a thanks for thinking of others during trying times.
 
GITOC - is there any way you could just take a lint roller that comes covered in strips of adhesive tape (you can get one at Target or the grocery store) and just give them a once-over. Maybe that could take care of the dust if they are clean otherwise. They work great. If you feel they still need dry-cleaning, maybe you could approach a cleaner's with your intentions and see if they'd be willing to give you a deal? Good luck.

Hey SoCal!

I have those tape rollers you mentioned (because I have a pet... and trust me, you can not live without these things if you have a pet!) But, the clothes are REALLY dusty... They need to be in the condition that you would personally wear them in, if you were going to your job interview. Which I understand, and is totally reasonable... if you look at the operations of the non profit. They don't have a dry cleaning facility and they do not have enough volunteers to hang, iron or otherwise care for the suits.

But, that opens another question... would the dry cleaning expense be a tax write off... since it is required for the donation??? :)

Yes, it would be deductible. So would mileage driven to make the donation.

What's the total tab on the dry cleaning bill? If you have Paypal, I'd chip in a few $ to offset your costs.

But, isn't neccessary... and, thank you sincerely for the offer and for letting me know the cleaning will be tax deductible!

I just like to spend wisely... and don't want to pay too much while trying to do a good thing!

But, wow... if anyone wants to cure themselves from the shopping bug... clean out your closet! You will feel like you never want to shop again! Also, I found a pair of black seven jeans I forgot I had... fit perfectly! It was like going shopping in my own closet! :wow:

If you have a Market Place coupon booklet that just came out - check in there for a coupon from Royal Cleaners. If you are a new customer, they will give you a 30% discount off your entire dry cleaning order until March 31. I just called them to ask if there is a limit on the number pieces and they said there's no limit. If you don't have the coupon, PM me with your address and I will mail it to you. Hope this helps.
