Will it mar/damage paint? I assume it hooks on some part of the door or jam, right? How heavy can the user be? A friend of mine.... want to know if 325 lb is too much for this gadget.

If your friend weighs 325, pull-ups are probably a bad exercise to consider. Simply put, he is probably too heavy to do them regardless of whether he is using a home device like the one in the picture, or a (non-aided) pull-up machine in a gym.

Probably the best exercise for someone that weight to consider is walking. After taking care of the cardiovascular system, he can (and should) introduce free weights.

I'm 200lb and the door frame doesn't creak or make any weird sounds when i use it. No marks so far either.

It possible to close the door with that? Is it easy to remove in case you want to close the door?

Lol can't close door with it on. Super easy to remove.

No straps, but they were in the instructions, maybe i got screwed.

I'm 6ft 200lb, my knees aren't too far from the ground when I'm hanging. I do have pretty long arms tho.

Wow, $50 for a metal bar that can't be adjusted or folded?

I don't know how big of a market there is, but if I send a blueprint out to China, I can sell it for $30 each, and still make a great profit. And it is adjustible for different shoulder width and body height, as well as foldable so you can put it under you bed.
