I am wondering what people are planning for summer vacation. I figured with the economy the way it is, everyone is probably likely to stick close to home and may not engage in as much foreign or exotic travel. So what are your plans?

I'm afraid this year my travel orgy must come to an end and I must succumb to the stayaction(and might I add: all done with WAGE income). However, on the bright side I will probably die before I see all I want to see in CA. So I don't really mind the stayaction.

Summer vacation? I haven't had one of those since college. haha But seriously, my summer will entail working and studying, taking review courses, and taking the CPA exam...good times! The goal is to get that little paper that says I'm a CPA before Thanksgiving. I will be making my occasional trips out to Vegas to see my dad and bring back some poker winnings.
 
Hmm... based on the recent threads, this summer I should:

1. Go to LA and get some culture.

2. Go to my old run down gang infested neighborhood and single-handedly turn it into Irvine.

3. Go visit the thousands of places that have homes with no frontal garages.

(Disclaimer: This was a joke)

Done that already... but I really plan to go back... with the kids. The Louvre was closed when I last went and I want to hit up Greece next time.

I just need to sign up for McDonna's "How To Bring Your Kids To Foreign Countries" class.
