Do new irivne village communities share the same school district as lake forest?

I wanted to know if the newer Irvine village communities like Portola springs share saddleback valley unified school district?

Not currently.

Parts of the development in the great park area is within the city if Irvine but in Saddleback school district.  Portola Springs is IUSD.  You can go to the IUSD website for exact info.

No.  It was just a political threat to get the builder to give IUSD the land they needed at the time they needed for the new high school.  They threatened to "cede" undeveloped land at one point.  But that is over now.
