Samsung 52" LCD TV for $1197 at Fry's (today and tomorrow only).

It's only 60hz but that's one of the cheapest prices I've seen for a 52" Sammie.
 
Not sure how this compares but my PS2's dvd player finally started sucking (can't believe that it lasted me from 2001) and I was going to pick up a cheap one for my room but couldn't justify spending 50 bucks on a dvd player when I came across this:

110+ tax for a Sony Blu-Ray w/ HDMI cable. Closest thing I could find online that compares is at amazon for 125 and that doesn't come with an HDMI cable.
