100 free trades a month with Merrill Edge here. it only requires 100k in BOA deposit accounts.

I think Wells Fargo offers 100 free trades a year for PMA accounts ($25k min) and if your mortgage is there, I think that counts. Good one for those that don't trade that frequently.

great. time to look at Wells. funny Wells just sent me a promotion for HELOC interest rates as a thank you, AFTER I paid off my loan with them via refi.

Oh oops.  Just checked, I still have my 100.  I must be grandfathered in.  Thanks for linking.

P.S.  For Merrill Edge, I think you can get 30 free trades a month if you keep $25k in BofA.  Unless you're heavily trading, probably won't use more than 30.

TI is turning into Fat Wallet. this thread has the potential of evolving into discussion on which credit card is better, in terms of mileage, cash back or other perks.

Plus we have other threads on mortgage, stock trades, retirement fund...etc. It just shows homeowners in Irvine have above average wealth and can engage in these kind of financial discussions.

According to you earlier, looking for "perks" (it's actually "perq" or "perqs" which is short for "perquisites") is a sign of financial weakness. Remember when you bashed me for wanting to use a discount? Oh, how your tune changes when it suits you.  :)

don't want to make this off topic. but I do find it quite amusing that someone who is looking forward to a MEXICAN CRUISE several months in advance and making two related threads in TI. Mexican (sorry qwerty) and Cruise(sorry Tom) are words that have connotation of being cheap, from vacationing point of view. Looking forward to it months in advance is just icing on the cake.

People who can only afford Foothill Ranch -> Mexican Cruise is their dream vacation

People who can afford Irvine (qwerty) -> vacation in Europe

And yet Mexico was good enough for you. You must have forgotten that you already posted about vacationing in Puerto Vallerta... which is the same place I'm going. Once again, for those keeping score at home, it's okay if you do it but not if others do it. #Hypocrite  :D #MakeUpYourMind #YouCanOnlyPickOneAnswer

I have a cap one card.. it's the travel one.. pretty good rewards.
