Construction Tour: JLH Stonetree Manor

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
Speaking of bathtubs (again), do you know where I can buy a longer shower curtain liner? All the ones I've seen (Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware, etc...) are only 72" long. I need something longer because I'm gong to have the curtain go all the way to the ceiling.

Oh DUH - I get it.

No, steam is good either way and I'm not shy! :)

Just saw that the homes up at The Tides and Seacrest were having silk drapes all the way to the ceiling as shower curtains...gave the bathrooms a more formal appearance...so wanted to duplicate that. :)

Just kidding - you probably just like the way it looks.

A shower curtain to the ceiling would keep in steam - like a "steam shower".

The shyness remark was a lame joke about being hidden from view by a full curtain.

What's up with steam showers anyway? Seems they are very popular now.

I personally don't care for them - don't want to sweat all over my clean self!

Laing...I had the same problem a few years ago. I did a web search on the companies that do "industrial curtains", like the ones in hospitals that surround the beds for privacy. I had a small rail installed in the ceiling ...the curtain hung off of 12" thin chains....the chains allowed for the steam to exit from the top half of the curtain.

LL,

I was looking for extra long shower curtains and had no luck. I came up with the idea of extension/insert to length using complementing decorated fabric. You can use fabric glue if you do not sew. Or have a seamtress to make modification for you. My curtains look custom.
