I count the unsold Plan 1 lofts on the layout map everytime I go by the sales office (since March-ish). The number hasn't changed in 4 months.

Hello everyone....What percent of the Parks do you all think are sold?...more specifically plan 1....Do people out there see the prices sliding further? They were asking$399,000 for certain Park plan 1.....Do you think all units will drop to this?

I was there last month and all they told me all the courtyards are sold out except for 2 models.....is this BS?

From this forum it sounds as though they are staying pat with list prices. Is there anyone out there that has heard of lower offers being accepted? Does any one know if they are providing free upgrades instead of reducing the price?

Currently the Courtyards are built out, but there is vacant land (along Lawson Way) where the City Place Sky Lofts are supposed to be built. If the sky lofts aren't built, then that phase will probably consist of courtyard and park units.

I suspect she is blowing smoke up your nether regions. Go have dinner at one of the restaurants and wander back there in the evening. Not that many lights...

Many lofts due to the solar heat gain the owners have either tinted all the retail facing glass, full height roller shades and draperies. It is hard to see even the interior light at night from the outside. Many owners do not live in the loft units. They are either offices or doctor bachelor pads for hosting parties.

Does anyone know when the Central Park West condos/townhouse/lofts will be going on the market? That looks like it will be nice. If the City Place has not sold out their units when the Central Park West units come on the market they are going to be in trouble. There is going to be a plethora of "urban type" developments on the market. Maybe I will hold out for those....having an Irvine zip code over a Santa Ana zip code goes a long way for resale value! Gee whiz...if I am going to spend $400,000 on a townhouse I may as well live in Irvine.

Also, what do all you folks think about the Santiago Lofts...i am starting to see short sale after short sale come onto the market there.

Santiago Lofts are buried into the industrial side of SA. Its advantage is being close to the train depot. Living in a loft is all about lifestyle. Neither CPW or Santiago has good proximity to retails and nightime activities.

Cityplace is a little bit better having retails across the parking lot and the mall across the street. The only sign of nightlife is the 24 hours hospital across the 22 fwy and the nearby stadium venues.

What type of businesses are at the Santiago Lofts?

I haven't been there since they first opened so I don't know what any of those work/live owners have actually done for the "work" part (or have the work spaces just become 3rd car garages?).

I can't seem to identify any profitable business you can open up in that area of Santa Ana.
