I was at the school concert for my kid last week. Grant that it's not a paid, adult concert but most folks were respectful and courteous. The music teacher actually pulled out his cell phone in front of everyone and silenced it and turned on airplane mode at the beginning of the program.
The concert began... Lo and be hold... cell phones goes off... happens to be Chinese women (looked like FCB but not sure, speaking Chinese... I don't know mandarin or Cantonese since I'm not a Chinese...
Then, next orchestra got up on the stage and was performing while first group kids came off the stage and sat among parents... While music was playing, I started hearing conversation... a kid who just performed prior, was whining and being cranky while his mom was talking.. more like scolding... not sure what was going on since it was in ... Chinese... but the mom didn't take him out.. just sat there talked... very rude and very annoying...
