Cheap baby monitor

My 2 year old just broke our 2 year old baby monitor... any cheap replacement recs?  I don't want to spend over $100 for another one.  The $200 price tag for this type of technology seems way to high for me.  I don't think I'll need it for that much longer but I like it for peace of mind.

If your comfortable, I would say try Craigslist.  Especially if you dont need it new and long term.  I thought I would be done by now, but my video monitor is still good to check in on my 4 year old!  Good luck!

can be used for a multitude of things.  i mean, I know we ALL report out of state purchases, but now amazon charges you for sales tax in Ca...  this used to be cheaper...

you can turn around and sell this on craig's list when you are done.

way off.  amazon doesnt charge for CA sales tax and cancelled 10000 affiliate relationships to protect this.  we order almost daily from amazon and arent charged sales tax.  you might be charged sales tax if its a vendor in CA selling you the goods but they are using amazon as a mall vs you buying from amazon.

good to know.. crap.. i should have looked careful before we spent $400 on misc baby items... 

I just read something recently that Amazon is negotiating on a resolution to this issue.  CA states they lose hundreds of millions in lost sales tax revenue...
