Hard to tell from the maps, but that's all old oil fields if I'm not mistaken (along with the leftover hidden pot farms out there...)

Wonder what the disclosures will contain given what's in the dirt out there.

Maybe that's why it's called BLACKstone.

Who knows, you might get lucky and bust a Beverly Hillbillies:

Come and listen to a story about a man named Jed
A poor mountaineer, barely kept his family fed,
Then one day he was shootin at some food,
And up through the ground came a bubblin' crude.

Oil that is, black gold, Texas tea.

I remember looking at new houses in Brea a few years ago.  You can actually smell the petroleum as you drive by many new tracts.  The disclosure also clearly states that the houses sit on an old oil fields.
There are also many operational oil wells dotted around the town.

Here's a map of ACTIVE oil wells as of 2008.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:BreaOlindaDetail.jpg

Ellie May Clampett as a next door neighbor wouldn't be so bad now would it? Sure beats the RHOBH crew.

Not many folks who are well traveled in this forum. Brea means tar in spanish. So direct your jokes at that.
