Calling IHB artists to design an IHB T-shirt

Just a rough draft of a simple two-color logo. Seven concentric bubbles surrounding the IHB.

I glad you folks like it. Any suggestions on a final version? Anyone know how to get Corel's Paint Shop Pro to place text in a circular form?
 
So here's the "final" version, zovall. The proof copy is 9.5x9.5 @ 375dpi, suitable for any print job. This is a transparency, so the background colors will always show through, but it will look better on darker colors. I tried to keep the color count low to keep production costs down, but to have the bubble's show up on a white shirt I had to darken them a bit. If you think of any changes, suggestions, or requests I'll be around.

I am not a design expert, I am in performing art business.

The design on that t-shirt is very, very good. However, IMO many people don't know what IHB means and the fine print is hard to read.

May be a more attention- grabbing picture/phrase at the back of the shirt?

p.s. I like the logo on white. It's an air bubble, so white will do.
 
HA! I was waiting for someone else to notice that. The original design was concentric rings of fire, but it looked exactly like a flaming Target logo, so I deleted it.

I can add any lettering to most T-shirts, Mendelssohn, but aside from the "real estate hell" line, I wouldn't know what to put on it. I had an idea to make a mock concert tour shirt, but with zip codes and '97-'07 prices, like this:

Or maybe the same style but with the median home price in Irvine over the last ten years. In either case, I'd need some stat junkie to provide the figures. But I agree that for a T-shirt, it'd need something to do the explaining. All that being said, the logo looks cool on a polo shirt with just the bubbles and "IHB", and I'm tempted to order a test item or two just to get an idea of what it looks like on a mug and on a t-shirt.
 
What if you took the "H," made it bigger, put a roof structure on it (^) and stretched it over the "I" and the "B?" If people picked up on the H = Housing by making it look like a house, perhaps the connection might be stronger?
 
I like this logo better too. Think it should have the website address as well somewhere on the T-Shirt or Irvine Housing Bubble spelled out somewhere? Just a thought.
