Post Covid, they defiantly vote dumb. How many unnecessary lockdowns and business restrictions for everyone except themselves and their donors happened on a weekly basis… yet we just act like sheep and worship them for enriching themselves and hurting us regular people with no rich daddy and uncle to bribe our way through life. I guess this state just will cheer their team no matter how terrible they are. That includes Porter.

outside of urban areas (LA/SF...etc) people hate Newsom. It is not like all Californians are on the Democrat side.

Well, it's a fact that urban areas in any state vote blue and rural areas vote red. Even in Texas, you have urban areas (Dallas/Austin/Houston/San Antonio) voting blue. The difference between CA and TX is that TX rural population is bigger than CA rural population, relative to urban population. And redder too.

Sure, Newsom does some annoying shit at times, but I can't imagine hating Newsom while loving Abbott and DeSantis, both of whom are despicable.
 
I vote D over R but she is a bit too liberal for my taste. Vastly prefer her over Mimi Walters, but would rather see a moderate/business-friendly Democrat.

I don’t remember a moderate Democrat doing well in any California election in my lifetime. I think the moderate will come from the GOP, which is too dumb to realize how to win is just be less extreme then your opponent.

In fact, there aren't that many liberal Democrats in America anymore. Other than the Squad? Even most of Democrats are closer to center and liberal. In fact, someone like Harris is more like center right.

This is California… our GOP is the moderate Democrat. Our Democrats are socialists and communists. This is what non Californians tell me regularly when they relocate here for work. The fact most democrats in California don’t know this is the joke other out of state democrats say

Saw Katie on Bill Maher last night. A very disappointing discussion on Bud Light, Kid Rock and Lia Thomas. JIMHO, Bill asked a pertinent question., Katie answered the party line and eventually muddled around to the Governing body sets the rules. Of course, the other side is Kid Rock shooting Bud Light cases with a AR-type rifle and screaming f-u to bud light for being woke.

Looks like the election will come down to is the middle more concerned about the Taliban Right locking out any abortion procedures or the left having a no-discussion zone permitted on Trans. Irony being the Right's response to inviting the other side to have a beer is screaming f-u will shooting shit up.
