Yo Troop, how'd you know the HB Bigbird was logged in?

It got me looking and I discovered the Member List at the top of the website and it is hilarious! The members are ranked by the number of posts made. Remember good 'ole NIRVINEREALTOR? She is one of the top posters, but hasn't been on the site since March 11th! Talk about walking away from it all. She sure has gone silent. OTOH, I hope she is okay (even though her pre-credit crunch bullish postings were repulsive to me). And Janet! I don't know if it is the same one, but I remember a Janet making a post about bitter renters "who made a poor life decision." Oh, I just remember that "poor life decision" remark; it was just so snotty!

Well, things have changed haven't they?

Is that tiny strip of blue in the distance supposed to be your ocean view at

the Brightwater at Huntington Beach ad? I don't call that an ocean view.

And the greenery inbetween is a swamp?

We have a nice swamp near here in Brevard, full of wildlife, that we walk

by and it doesn't smell at all, except for a nice vegetation and water smell.

And there was a 5.4 earthquake in the middle of the country last week.

Any buyers at Brightwater at Huntington Beach should make sure that the

mechanic's lien exception is deleted from their title policies. Developers

on the way down often don't pay their subs.
 
Major, I am currently using the "IHB" theme of the forum site. When I hit "Forum Home", then scroll down to the bottom I can see a list of "new members" and "members currently signed in". For example, I see that you are not signed in as I write this but 8 other IHB'rs are.

Brightwater in Huntington Beach by Hearthside Homes just doesn't look like all that anymore.

At least the bungalows are priced in the 800s, rather than the 1.xM at Brightwater in Huntington Beach by Hearthside Homes

of course, there are lots of REOs and short sales showing up at the new community just behind the new Hilton in HB too
