Brazilian barbecue

Has anyone try this restaurant in Anaheim? What is Picana meat? I tried to google but nothing came up that's meaningful. Thanks ahead for your response.

I plan to take my daughter there to celebrate her 18th birthday.

I went a few years ago. Its actually in Fullerton, just north of the 91 on Lemon.

It is OK. not nearly so good as ones in New Jersey, which has a local B population. Meats were not the best cuts, salad bar only so so, considering we are in CA.

I would bet that there is a better one in LA, but don't know it.

I like Agora near John Wayne Airport. I've only been for lunch but even then the salad bar and meats were pretty good. Not the best churrascaria I've ever been too but not bad for being so close.

add an 'h' to make it picanha ... my favorite; that's what it is.

I've tried Fogo de Chao and wasn't too impressed.

My Aunt is from Brazil and I'd defer to her opinion on this. She told me that most restaurants cannot do many meat dishes well, and you typically only find a few that you like, the rest are mediocre.

I tend to look at the side dishes and salad bar more closely. If you eat too much meats it's like... ugh. I need sides dishes and salad to compliment the meal. Many Brazilian BBQ restaurants are skimpy on the salad bar and it's really sad, considering the low cost of veggies versus quality cuts of meat.

That's the problem. The menu had a spelling error, no wonder google did not deliver anything.
