I don't think TLONL is passing on any secrets. TLONL is useful for aggregating information so we don't have to go searching all over the place for it ourselves.
Why do you pay a title company for a title report when you can go spend a few days at some courthouses and recorders' offices and accumulate the same information yourself for "free"?
