Huh? $1.05 mil? It seems to me that 7 Roberts would go for alot more than that. Do you have any more info?

All I can tell you is they rounded up from the $1.049 NTS and minimum bid amoumt.
On Zillow it says it is for sale for $1.795mil, but it doesn't show up on RedFin or Zip. But 15 Roberts is listed for $1.35mil., so picking up 7 Roberts for $1.05 sounds like a decent deal. I bet it was Pacfic Legacy, because they have the funds to buy a place for that much, and that it will be listed in the next 30 days or so.
Awgee, next few years? Does Mrs. Awgee know you are talking a few years before you buy? Or are you like Mr. Calgal who tells Mrs. CalGal, "Next year we'll buy." And four years later . . . . the CalGal family is still in a rental.$228 per square foot? Things are getting very good indeed. I am almost tempted to start heading down to the courthouse on auction day. Almost, only because prices will get even better in the next few years.

I tell her we will buy whenever she wants; tomorrow if that is what she wants. But, I show her the houses we can buy today and I show her the houses we will be able to buy in a couple of years. Her choice. How about you? Would you rather buy right now? Or would you rather live in a rental and buy later?

I'm certainly choosing the rental option for the time being. I can't paint, but other than that I have nested just fine in my rented townhouse. I admit, unless the kids' school district is an issue, I don't understand all the discussions I see here about females being the ones who need to nest in a home they own. Cover the walls with pictures of loved ones or places, or things that make you happy to look at, and call it good. Buy a rug, if needed. Your furniture is still your furniture.
Very funny. I'm glad I didn't have to continue debating this issue because my blood pressure was already maxed out.awgee said:Wow Sarge. CalGal makes a pretty good case. Except for her last sentence. I knowhow bad she really wants to live here:
Special rental for CalGal listed by her fav realtor
CalGal said:Although, I still think it's overpriced.
The one thing that I hate most about the Meritage tract is the crooked island (Z shaped). Vicki has it in her house. Although I'm not sure if you can see it in the MLS pictures.awgee said:CalGal said:Although, I still think it's overpriced.
Uhh-h-h, ya think?
The house seems fine, but $1.8 mil in Meritage? Foile a deux?

P.S. Maybe someone should tell Jeana that cell phones don't take the best pictures. Get a professional photographer to take the pics!
Better yet, Vicki should hire IR2 to represent her. He'll get that house sold.
If a second lien holder forecloses, does the second lien holder then have to make the first mortgage payments in order not be be foreclosed upon? How does this whole thing work?
