Blackout

There was a fairly lengthy blackout in Quail Hill on Saturday night, about 3 hours from ~8PM. Haven't seen any news or explanations -- will So Cal Edison compensate us for the missed prime time entertainment?



I did learn something new -- Mario Kart on my kids' Nintendo DS is FUN!

Was it all of QH or just a few units? There was likely a lot of air conditioners running, did it tap the "voluntarily cut off power under heavy usage times" option one can pick on one's power bill for a bit of savings?

I was at a wedding on Saturday night and did not notice anything amiss when I returned home. I didn't realize there was a blackout.

I wondered what happened when I came home Saturday night ?

Home Entertainment System Power Supply was freaked out and all

the appliances PF/Zero out. Guess it was the wind ?
