I stopped doing BF a while ago... tried to go a couple years back and I'm just not build to be in line with a bunch of people to save $50.

There are some things that I would recommend if available:

Target:

Razor scooter with lighted wheels: $19
44" Portable NBA Backboard: $99 (since Homie won't meet me at the park, I'll just shoot some hoops at home)
iPad Mini: $299 with $75 gift card (Walmart gives you a $100 gift card)
iPad Air: $479 with $100 gift card
Nintendo 3DS XL: $149 (other stores have the normal 3DS for that price)

Best Buy

Samsung 65" LED TV: $999 (I think this is the cheapest name brand 65" I could find)
iPod Touch 32gb: $249
Asus Touchscreen 11.6 laptop: $249
Google Chromecast: $29 (w/ $6 Play credit)

Walmart

70" Vizio LED TV: $998 (cheapest 70" I could find)
PS9's 60" Vizio LED TV: $688

I went to Best Buy yesterday (picked up a Chromecast) and there were already people camping out... crazy.

So many stores open today... soon we will see Black Wednesday.
 
I can't do the line thing either. Size is not an issue :P
I am shopping over the internet though. Been buying gifts for everyone on my list, and bought me Game of thrones set this morning. Now need to buy me time to read!

I'm one of those ppl that buys stuff throughout the year that I need/want, don't really wait for sales, just try to haggle the best price at the time.  Except for clothes, I wait for Nordstrom's sale.  The only thing I really buy is gift cards on BF, but I won't endure the tortuous lines just for that.  But I will stand in line to get allocated wine/beer/spirits cuz some are released on BF. >:(
