Best way to care for Travertine and Tumbled Stone flooring?

Our new home has Travertine floors throughout the downstairs and tumbled stone in the bathrooms. I'm new to both of these types of flooring and wondered if anyone had good tips for cleaning, maintaining, etc?

Any typical issues with these materials that I should look out for and/or avoid? Cleaning products to use or avoid?

Any tips are much appreciated!

+1 on travertine staining.  Do a test sample first to see if you like the results in case it changes the look.  Consider also an enhanced sealer, which will make the tiles darker overall, and which will make the natural contrast really pop.  3M makes some good stuff.  Not cheap, but cheaper than polishing stained tiles.  Yes, you can get stains out, but you need to remove the material in multiple steps.  Note of caution, sealers can make the grout a lot darker, so make sure you test on the grout too.
